For Prospective Grantees

A step-by-step process

Through grants and initiatives, the Iowa West Foundation works to foster thriving communities where families want to live, and businesses choose to locate. Since our inception, organizations have leveraged more than $300 million in grants to improve the quality of life in more than 100 in southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska.

We believe it’s important to work in collaboration with potential grantees to help them achieve success. In this section you’ll learn more about the process to apply for a grant. We’ll guide you every step of the way. If you have a question, we will help you find the answer; if we missed something, you have a direct link to someone who can help you.

The Iowa West Foundation accepts proposals quarterly. You’ll find the online application process is fast, easy, and convenient.

Take a look at the four steps to better understand the process, what we fund, how you may qualify, how to apply and what type of follow up is required if your organization is awarded a grant.
