Iowa West Racing Association

The Iowa West Racing Association is the nonprofit sponsor of the license for Ameristar Casino Hotel and Harrah’s Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel, as well as the license holder for Horseshoe Casino Council Bluffs.

The grant recipient of funds from the Iowa West Racing Association (IWRA) is the Iowa West Foundation, which is an independent private foundation that further distributes the receipts in the form of grants. The Iowa West Foundation provides grants for nonprofit and government entities to improve the quality of life for citizens in southwest Iowa and eastern Nebraska.
